Upcoming Projects. (nerd tease)

Ahoy ahoy.

Happy New Years and all that jazz.

After a fun and nerdy holidays, it’s time to get crackin’ on other projects. I may be taking a brief hiatus from Warhammering, but will return shortly.

In the meantime, let’s have a look at the stuff I need to get crack-a-lackin on. So all these hopefully youll see soon or coming in waves

  • Upcoming tournaments!  Strategicon and the Broadside bash! are coming up. Both in my area, and both a good way to pit my best (or worst) against other generals.
  • Warriors of Chaos: lots to be done on these guys.
  • Monsters monsters, MONSTERS!: Dark Elf dragons, Dark Pegasai, Shaggoths, dragon ogres, manticores and minotaurs. All comin up!
  • Dark Elves: Bringing these sexy bastards off the shelf and onto the battle field! Lots of painting and converting ahead!
  • Guest painter!: Snorgles!!! is a talented painter with a unique eye, and she has enjoyed painting a Dark elf corsair…maybe more by this guest talent?
  • The Warherd!: Finishing painting the herd and keep smashing teeth in
  • 2010 retrospective: gotta do one. All the cool kids are doin’ it.
  • Painting competition!: Astronomicon is sponsoring a painting and ‘lore’ competition. It’s on.

That being said, here’s a few pictures of works that will be going on soon!
Enjoy!

  1. That’s a lot of projects, so I hope you’ve got plenty of nerd-time on your hands. I look forward to hearing about your tournament successes with the mighty warherd.

I always felt that the current Dragon Ogre models look a bit silly, and I much prefer when this) was the state of the art big bad guy. The Shaggoth looks pretty cool though.

  2. Oh yeah, the ‘current’ dragon ogres are just absurd. I like that older one, chop off his weapon and give him a fun one and it would be 200% better. Either way, these will be fun and good practice at colors before I tackle the Shaggoth.
